Rivets add detail and interest to a piece of work, these have been used to hold the join together when firing but also they are very decorative. I’m really looking forward to seeing them enamelled.

Shinny rim!
Really lovely how the light catches the copper rim, such a nice contrast with the bronze patina and the blue enamel

Today’s forming. As I look at this it reminds me of my Grandfather Harry Horrobin, among a lot of other creative disciplines he mastered making violins, what a skill to attain to! Looking forward to enamelling this.
